One of our clients is currently seeking bright, articulate and well motivated accounting officers to join their Finance & Accounts Department.
You will be a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a mature and professional attitude, plus excellent communication skills. As an Accounts officer you will be required to fulfil the following duties as an active member of the team:
Keeps record to conform with Tax Law and to provide financial data for management
Ensure that cost and revenue are properly captured
Maintain Asset Register and compute monthly depreciation
Prepare income tax and other government reports
Prepares reports of daily bank lodgements and balances
Prepares weekly creditors and debtors schedule
Administer and reconcile all bank accounts, investigating any irregularities and taking appropriate action
Occasional ad hoc administration duties
To apply, you must have a B.Sc. in an Accounting or related discipline, 2 years relevant work experience, sound accounting knowledge, good problem solving skills, good IT skills, excellent attention to detail, and exposure to sage evolution software.
